Long Beach Transit invites resident input
The Long Beach Transit Systemwide Transit Analysis and Reassessment (STAR) Initiative launched in 2017 to evaluate service investments and consider changes to LBT’s services and routes to improve people’s ability to move around the Long Beach area.
Based on the input from the public, the STAR Initiative project team has developed a roadmap for improving LBT’s service over the next five to 10 years.
STAR is hosting community meetings this month to present these recommendations on route and service changes. Attend a meeting to get information and provide your feedback.
The final open house meeting is scheduled for Saturday, Jan. 27, 2018 from 10:00 a.m. to noon at the Michelle Obama Neighborhood Library, 5870 Atlantic Ave., Long Beach, CA 90805.
You can also provide your feedback in an online survey available through January 30 at https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/LBTSTAR.
This survey includes a description of the improvements associated with each phase of the roadmap, as well as detailed discussion of each of the short-term route recommendations.
Complete the survey and enter your email address for a chance to win one of four $25 gift cards or one of four pairs of tickets to the Aquarium of the Pacific in Long Beach. Winners selected in February.
